The transmission is terrible, you can barely hear the music more than the static. The scanning function does not even pick the top of the static stations, when you are lucky it is only .1 or .two off from a decent station, but about half the time there is no transmission at all. Also the dial, which initially looks fancy and entertaining, is rather awkward to manipulate although driving. So essentially this is a particularly pricey ipod charger for when you are on the go.

When I can hear the music from my iPod there is continually fuzziness and interference. I use a distinctive plug in device for my XM radio FM reception and don't get any interference. With the cable it doesn't matter what channel I am tuned to there is intereference. Sorry, but I cannot recommend that any person order this item.
