Client Critiques
I have this item now for four weeks. Changed it out in my Silverado Truck for the Original Radio. This Radio rocks. The Functions are unbelievable. The sounds is owesome with the original speakers. My wife even has to to turn down the radio considering that she can hear the sounds (Frequencies) a lot greater than with the original radio. She uses the USB Stick a lot. Effortless, smaller and lots of MP3 music on it. The faceplate is removal and behind the faceplate some 1 even could use a SD Card, if required. It plays MP3 from CD and even plays CD-RW. Some of the feature I haven't even utilized but. The installation was amazing painless. One little advise for Silverado Truck Owners. Go on the Online and order a Cable Assembly so you won't loose the Alert signal. I paid $10.00 for this. Nicely worth it. This radio rocks. Rather effectively performed Boss. Yet, there is 1 tiny issue, whilst no situation for my wife and me, possibly anoying for some others. It may possibly take a second or two longer than regular for the music to start playing from CD or USB stick. Yet for that value and attributes I will take that anytime, no situation for us. There is absolutely nothing out there that comes even close to the Boss 822UA value vs. attributes. I am glad I bought this 1.
Thank you Amazon, I received this unit in a couple of days.
I got this stereo considering that I was seeking for a inexpensive double din stereo that had an SD card slot, and all the other features sounded really good. When I received it I was excited, but when I hooked it up the sound would distort when turned up more than half way. Also the preouts didn't function appropriate, when hooked up to my subs they would turn on for approx two-3 seconds then turn off then back on and continuously do this, but when I would hook the remote wire to a fuse as an alternative of the radio it would operate fine. It seemed like the radio did not have adequate power to run the subs. I sent it correct back, amazon rocks no issues with them. I would not advise this product, it was my 1st time using BOSS and my final time.
Update, nicely I had my new stereo professionally installed and it turns out that the reason it kept turning on and off was my capacitor went bad. I was informed that they are not advised cause of threat of bursting, he recommended a energy cell battery rather but I passed on that also considering I am beneath the 2000 watt range. So I am changing my rating from 2 stars to three stars since it still had the distortion and I do not have it with my new Power Acoustik Ptid7000nr.
